Lost Boy

Brett's Blaze baseball team practiced at Angelina College baseball field last night. This is by the old gym. The side door to the gym was being held open by a chair. It would lock if the chair was removed. The boys had been going in and out using the restroom. We weren't 100% sure they should go in there but since the door was propped open and we needed a bathroom we let them go. Brett and his friend Parker were the last to go. I started talking to some friends and just assumed they had come out. Practice continued while I was talking. I noticed the AC custodian come over, moved the chair and close the door. You could tell he was locking up for the night. A little later practice was over. Denny and the coaches were standing around talking while all the other families left. This is when I noticed Brett was missing. I yelled for Denny to come and then we realized Parker was missing as well.  After looking around I finally remember they had go into the gym for the restroom. The gym was locked and dark. Denny managed to get into the foyer part of the gym but still could not find the boys. All other areas were locked and dark. They were in the players area. Needless to say after about 15 minutes that seemed like hours, the custodian found the boys and returned them to us. Another adventure in the life of the Riggs.
